Marriages today are under severe attack, and we must do everything that we can to make certain that the enemy does not destroy the sanctity of marriage set forth in the Word of God.  We do that in various ways through workshops, prayer, literature, honoring anniversaries, and fellowship events such as breakfasts, summer picnics and holiday meals.

This ministry is dedicated to providing a Christian venue for fellowship, encouragement and spiritual enrichment to the married couples of Livingway Church.

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”    Ephesians 5:25

Participation in any of our scheduled activities is certainly voluntary, but strongly encouraged.  Our events are typically scheduled every two months on either a Friday or a Saturday, depending on the time and length of the activity.

“Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.”    Ephesians 5:24

C.C.C. is designed specifically for couples in which either the husband and/or the wife is age 36 and older.  If one of you is younger than 36 and the other is older, you have the option of choosing which married couples ministry you would like to join.  (The Married Couples Ministry for couples age 35 and younger is called Young Married Couples Alive! or Y.M.C.A.) The activities and functions that are planned for this group are chosen with the more mature couple in mind.  Then, once a year, the two Married Couples Ministries come together for the annual seminar and banquet.

We admonish you not to allow the world to dictate what a real marriage is.  The only authority on that subject is the One who created man and wife and who instituted marriage originally … God Himself!  This ministry will help you to fight back as a couple against the enemy and celebrate anniversary after anniversary of God’s goodness and keeping power!
