GX is the Youth Ministry of Livingway Church, especially designed for teens from thirteen to nineteen years of age. Brandon & Mandy Fender accepted the position of Youth Pastors in September of 2004. Since then, the numbers have been steadily increasing!

Brandon has often expressed his belief that this is not a lost generation, but rather a generation that, with the right influence, is ready to ‘explode’ on the scene as tomorrow’s leadership in both church and community. It is the desire of GX to mold all youth into productive people, effective citizens and spiritual warriors.

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

We have received great feedback from parents that believe it provides a safe place for their teens to ‘hang out’ in a Christian environment with positive role models as leaders.

This youth group promotes spiritual maturation, educational preparation, spiritual and social independence, and most importantly, the revelation of Christ through a true personal relationship with Him.

“Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.” Ezekiel 16:60

GX meets every Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. in a building that they remodeled with youth in mind. GX also has a Bible Study one Thursday evening a month at 7:00 p.m. to give the teens an opportunity to learn more of the Word of God.

If you are a teenager, we invite you to come and join us every Saturday! And if you are the parent of a teen, we encourage you to make sure that your young person gets here! This is an awesome opportunity to sow seeds of greatness into his or her future!

GX has plans to minister the love of God to every teen that comes to us! Eventually, we also plan to reach out beyond our walls and into the surrounding community to minister to other youth in our area. We have a great GX Staff that is ready to do just that. The only thing missing is YOU!
