The Lighting Ministry of Livingway is a necessity to every service and event we have. In our Sanctuary, we have state of the art lighting equipment. In the Livingway Family Life Center, there is lighting available for television filming as well as the various dramas that we perform in that facility.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalm 119:130

The Lighting Ministry personnel are not only responsible for the in-house lighting for every service, but also any special lighting required for holiday programs and illustrated sermons throughout the year.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

If you have had previous training with lighting systems or on technical lighting boards, it is certainly helpful.  If you have been a lighting technician for productions or concerts, we can use your expertise.

However, if you have had no formal training, we can provide the necessary instruction that you will need to join this ministry.  It will require a heart willing to put forth the time and effort necessary to learn.

“For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” Psalm 36:9

Once you become a member of Livingway (Class 101: Discovering Livingway Membership), you can become active in the Lighting Ministry.  Two other classes are also required once you become a Lighting Technician (if you have not already completed them).  Class 201: Discovering Spiritual Maturity and Class 301: Discovering My Ministry.
