The Physical Abuse Overcomers Ministry provides Christian support, love and comfort to persons involved in emotionally, mentally and physically abusive relationships with husbands/wives, boyfriends/girlfriends or family members.

We desire to touch the lives of those who attend by restoring their confidence, renewing their strength and teaching them to reclaim their joy through the Word of God. This rebirth will be accomplished by practical teaching on applying God’s Word to one’s life so as to make that person whole in Him. We believe that this will break the illusion of failure and illuminate God’s true promises for His people.

This ministry is intended to not only help those who are experiencing this kind of abuse themselves, but also to share ministry tools with those who live or deal with loved ones who are either abusive or being abused so they can effectively minister deliverance also.

We have testimony after testimony of God’s deliverance.  These are shared on a regular basis in these meetings.  It is exciting to acknowledge what God has done in someone else’s life, but it is even more thrilling to step into the knowledge that everything God has done for them, He is ready, willing and able to do in your life as well!

Currently, this ministry meets once a month on the second Friday night of each month from 7:00 p.m. until approximately 8:15 p.m. in the Livingway Family Life Center.  In a few months, the schedule will be increased to two meetings per month.
