Praise Dance Company was established in 1988.  Its mission has been clear from the very beginning: To praise, worship and exalt the Lord God Jehovah in the dance!

The style of dance performed is a combination of ballet, modern, free-style and American Sign Language. 

Praise Dance Company is privileged to perform as a group during various Livingway services as well as at No Matter What Women Radical Sabbaticals and Real Treats.  Invitations to various churches and community events are always a great opportunity for us to show forth God’s glory.

“Let them praise his name in the dance …” Psalm 149:3

PDC Rehearsals are held on alternating Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. 

Monthly dues for the PDC members are $5 per month.  We provide dance garments for each members use, but the dance garments remain the property of the Company.

“Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;” Psalm 30:11

Membership into the Company requires a twelve-week probationary period.  Anyone desiring to become a member of PDC must attend twelve consecutive rehearsals.  Above all, you must have a good sense of rhythm and be able to dance gracefully. 

 At the end of the twelve-week period, probationers must perform two assigned dances proficiently.
