The Temple Ministry is dedicated to attend to the needs of the physical structure of Livingway Church.  Although we realize that our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit, we also recognize that our buildings house God’s people as well as His Presence.

We believe that God’s house should be well kept as a part of our praise and worship to Him.  It is indicative of the fact that we place a high value on the things of God.  Since we are His ambassadors, we want His house to represent His presence.

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10

This ministry meets each Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with members volunteering a minimum of two hours within that time frame.  Members are welcome to volunteer on weekdays during regular office hours as well.  This can be done in addition to or in lieu of the Saturday gathering.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” Colossians 3:23

Livingway Church stretches its regular activities out over six different buildings, so there is always work to be done to bless the house of the Lord by making it clean, neat and attractive for members and guests alike.

If you love the house of God and you want to make sure that God is pleased with the appearance and presentation of His house, this is a ministry that would certainly fulfill you.

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10

By principle, the Word of God teaches us that whatever we make happen for His house, He will, in turn, make happen for our houses.  If we sow time and energy, effort and work, into His house, then He will sow His supernatural time and energy, His miraculous effort and work into our households

What an incentive!  Because we know that, no matter what the need is in your household, God can supply it!
