The purpose of this ministry is to spread God’s Word through CDs, and DVDs. 

The Media Ministry believes that faith comes alive when it is applied to everyday living. This service-oriented ministry has two divisions: 1. COUNTER HELP 2. PRODUCT MANUFACTURERS. We must be cognizant that when working the counter, we are what the work place would call a customer service representative. With this title in mind, we should always be courteous, knowledgeable of our product and since the counter tends to be the stop that the congregation members make when they are on their way out the door, we should be time conscious.

When working the duplicating machines, we are what the working world would consider a manufacturer. And, with this title in mind, we should be sure that the product is of top quality, presentable (appearance-wise), and available in a timely manner.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
Romans 10:17

Knowing this, we must honor our role in the Media Ministry.  When a person purchases a product from the tape counter there is the possibility that they may listen to the Word over and over again.  As members of Livingway, we are well aware that when a person does this, it becomes a part of that them and is hidden in his or her heart so that no sin can come in.  This is a service that the Media Ministry provides.
